It's hot here. Hot for Seattle, anyway, which thrives in the cool and damp and where no one has air conditioning. We've been breaking June record temps for the last three days, and we're all ready for the heat wave to end. Luckily, it seems that we're on track for some cooler weather tomorrow.
Mom C. is still here, taking good care of all of us; making sure we eat and have clean clothes to wear. I shudder to think of the conditions we'll be living in after she leaves on Saturday. It seems that I will be forced to give up on either eating or showering, as there does not seem to be enough time in the day, while taking care of a newborn, to accomplish both.
