Josie's first experience with solid food was an unprecedented success. It was as if she had been eating rice cereal all along, on the sly, and this was just the first time we'd been around to witness it. No funny face. No spitting the food out. Just a big chomp down on the food, a swallow, and then opening her mouth for more. After just a few bites, she was grabbing the spoon and trying to feed herself. We figure that, at this rate, she'll not only be eating a full-course Christmas dinner in a month and a half, but she just may be cooking it for us as well.
